Update: (Now SOLD) I finished this piece from my bomba y plena series of small paintings and I’m pretty pleased with how she came out. A few months back I bought some pieces of linen I hand stretched, sized (primed), and then mounted onto pieces of 5” x 7” mdf panels (see photos). There’s something much more intimate and satisfying about the laborious process of creating your own painting surfaces rather than buying a canvas panel off of the store shelf.⠀
As usual, I’m stumped on a title. Unless it’s a commission or a piece that’s extremely specific, I always have trouble with titles. At this point, I think it’s an excellent and appropriate idea for the viewer(s) to assign a name to a piece. Any thoughts on a title? I’m open to any ideas that intuitively feel “right”.⠀
This piece is available now on my website under ART PRINTS
